Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a dealership BDC department is essential.
  • Strong understanding of automotive products and market dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

  • E-commerce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through various online platforms to understand their vehicle needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of dealership inventory, including new and used vehicles, and current market trends.
  • Process customer inquiries efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely responses.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with potential customers to drive sales conversions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between online leads and showroom activities.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding financing options, vehicle specifications, and availability.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall performance of the BDC team.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and pricing to provide accurate information to customers.
