This position plays a crucial role in supporting the HR functions within the manufacturing plant, focusing on employee development, relations, policy development, training, compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation. The HR Generalist will serve as a resource for managers, assisting them in resolving employee relations issues and coaching them on performance concerns and attendance matters. The role requires a proactive approach to identify, investigate, and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner, ensuring a positive work environment. In addition to employee relations, the HR Generalist will coordinate employee engagement efforts and conduct investigations for any complaints or policy violations. This position also involves auditing time and attendance records for over 300 employees and submitting payroll bi-weekly. The HR Generalist will ensure proper processing of documentation for various benefits programs, prepare termination forms, conduct exit interviews, and schedule new employee orientations. Recruiting activities for both salary and hourly staff may also be part of the responsibilities, along with responding to inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a human resources-related field and at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential, as is fluency in Spanish. The HR Generalist will work closely with Corporate Human Resources to implement new policies and ensure timely performance reviews for plant employees.
