About The Position

We are seeking a part-time Bilingual Office Coordinator. The Front Office Coordinator will provide general office support with various clerical activities and related tasks, including but not limited to answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, and scheduling appointments. Monitor the flow of correspondence, filing, taking payments/deductibles, and liaise between patients, therapists, and medical groups. The role also includes participating in the development of policies and procedures, attending weekly meetings with the DOR to discuss productivity and scheduling reports, and functioning as a liaison while maintaining open communication with patients' providers, clinicians, and administrators for areas of responsibility. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of plans to improve patient satisfaction, coordinate a high volume of patient and therapist appointment schedules, request authorizations for new cases, ensure patients are maximizing their monthly therapy sessions, and provide occasional translation to caregivers and staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with thorough follow-up skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to learn other software
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
