About The Position

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our members and guests. This role supports daily operations through customer service, sales, scheduling, and administrative tasks. Bilingual candidates who speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish are strongly preferred to better support our diverse families. Saving and changing lives, every single day. Whether you are in the pool leading instruction for our swimmers or warmly greeting our members in our tropical lobby as a front desk representative, you are making an impact.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or administrative experience
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, scheduling or POS systems)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) strongly preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist parents and students with a warm, professional attitude
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Process student registrations, payments, and merchandise sales
  • Conduct sales calls and follow-ups with prospective members
  • Schedule and manage birthday/pool parties and related communications
  • Prepare daily lesson schedules for instructors and management
  • Resolve customer questions or concerns with professionalism and care
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk, observation, and common areas
  • Update promotional displays and informational materials
  • Enforce safety rules and assist with first aid when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking families, both verbally and in writing (phone, email, and in person)
  • Cross-train to gain a working knowledge of swim instruction programs and curriculum
