About The Position

This opportunity supports a large‑scale government disaster recovery program assisting communities impacted by the Los Angeles County wildfires. The program is administered under a California State contract and focuses on delivering critical assistance to affected residents. Position Details Role: Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish, Russian, Armenian ONLY) Start Date: April 23, 2026 - 2 month project with potential to extend based on business needs Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (assigned shift within these hours; lunch times staggered) Pay Rate: $19/hour Equipment: Provided

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center environment
  • Bilingual fluency required in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Armenian, or Russian
  • Proven ability to manage high inbound call volumes (60–80 calls per day)
  • Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and an empathetic customer‑service approach

Responsibilities

  • Answer high volumes of inbound calls and handle inquiries in accordance with program policies
  • Provide accurate information, route calls appropriately, and document caller interactions
  • Deliver empathetic, professional, and solutions‑focused customer service to individuals affected by wildfire events
  • Assist with basic case management and administrative support as needed
  • Cross‑train on additional program functions to support operational needs
  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with callers and internal teams
