About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support customers at the Grand Prairie Workforce Office. This role serves as a key point of contact for individuals seeking employment assistance and workforce resources. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping job seekers navigate career transitions while delivering accurate information and guidance in both English and Spanish .

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of relevant customer service, employment services, or workforce-related experience preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
  • Good driving record

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers by telephone and in person to assess goals, provide information, and support individuals transitioning to new employment opportunities
  • Review job opportunities and provide referrals to qualified candidates
  • Advise customers on the local job market, employment services, and available workforce resources
  • Provide guidance on educational and training opportunities aligned to customer goals
  • Assist customers with resume development, job application completion, and interview preparation
  • Educate customers on professional presentation, including appropriate dress attire for interviews and employment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures to support customer outcomes
