About The Position

Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Child Therapist (English/Spanish preferred) to provide therapeutic services to school-aged children and their families. This is a full-time, remote/hybrid 1099 independent contractor role offering flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

Requirements

• Active Maryland license required: LCPC or LMSW (LCSW-C preferred)
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally working with children and families
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated cultural humility and experience working with diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to school-aged children using evidence-based practices
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate, as appropriate, with caregivers, school personnel, and external providers
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
• Participate in clinical consultation and coordination meetings as needed
