About The Position

Jewish Community Services (JCS) provides programs and services for people of all ages and backgrounds, helping them achieve their goals, enhance their wellbeing, and maximize their independence. Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Child Therapist (English/Spanish preferred) to provide therapeutic services to school-aged children and their families. This is a full-time, remote/hybrid 1099 independent contractor role offering flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

Requirements

  • Active Maryland license required: LCPC or LMSW (LCSW-C preferred)
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally working with children and families
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and experience working with diverse populations

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy to school-aged children using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate, as appropriate, with caregivers, school personnel, and external providers
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in clinical consultation and coordination meetings as needed
