POSITION OVERVIEW Dragonfly Cares is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide culturally responsive, individualized in-home instruction to children with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about reaching diverse families and bridging language barriers to deliver exceptional care in the Central Islip community.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in ABA, or related field(REQUIRED)
  • Certified Board Behavior Analyst(REQUIRED)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish(REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in home-based settings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) sessions
  • Experience implementing in-home Behavior Intervention Services (BIS)
  • Familiarity with ABA-based therapy platforms and electronic data collection tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide services in both English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication with bilingual and Spanish-speaking families
  • Conduct Assessments and develop Individualized ABA treatment Plans
  • Conduct Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) sessions in English and/or Spanish to empower caregivers
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and clinical directors to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and intervention outcomes.
  • Stay informed on the ethical standard and latest advancements in ABA practices.
