About the position
The Bilingual Behavioral Respite Staffing Coordinator at Cambrian Homecare is responsible for managing the scheduling of home care aides for clients, particularly in the behavioral respite division. This role involves ensuring quality care by matching caregivers with clients based on their needs and the caregivers' skill sets. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills to support daily operations and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Identify needs of clients and manage all scheduling of appropriate home care aides based on skill set and availability.
- Schedule care for clients in the geriatric division and children/adult with special needs division.
- Provide supportive leadership to staff for daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with employees for scheduling needs and client preferences/needs.
- Provide customer service and directly resolve any issues and concerns.
- Schedule and conduct in-person caregiver orientations and training.
- Verifying and completing legal documentation for new hires.
- Provide excellent communication to caregivers, referral sources, and the community.
- Provide ongoing training resources to caregivers.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills required.
- Experience with children/adults with special needs is a plus.
- Staffing experience is a plus.
- Able to exercise discretion with confidential information.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
