Stavros Center for Independent Living (CIL) is seeking a bilingual advocate (English/Spanish) to support youth with disabilities as they prepare for independent adulthood. This position works with students ages 14–22 to build independent living skills, self-advocacy, and confidence as they transition from school to adult life. The advocate will work directly with students in schools and in community settings, providing both individual and group services focused on independent living goals such as self-advocacy, community participation, education, and employment readiness. This role involves collaborating with students, families, and school staff to support each young person’s goals and growth. In addition to youth services, the advocate will occasionally assist Stavros’ Independent living program by providing support for Spanish-speaking consumers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about disability rights, youth empowerment, and community inclusion, and who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people with disabilities.
