About The Position

Speak is on a mission to reinvent the way people learn languages, starting with English, Spanish, and French. We are creating an AI-powered experience that allows users to practice conversations in a foreign language without needing a human partner. We are seeking bilingual Japanese actors to appear in our app-based video lessons as language teachers. In these lessons, actors will deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases while engaging users interactively. The role requires portraying a professional who is excited about their friend's decision to learn a new language, rather than a traditional school teacher. The ideal candidates will be native or heritage Japanese speakers with a neutral Japanese accent and no accent when speaking English.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Japanese and English.
• Native Japanese speaker or heritage Japanese speaker.
• Ability to deliver Japanese in a neutral accent.
• No accent when speaking English.
