About The Position

The RTS Carrier Services Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing assigned accounts to initiate and maintain long-term client relationships. The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to the assigned accounts. This role is expected to build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve the highest revenue by upselling additional products and services to customers, increase wallet share to target and maintain with assigned existing customers, retain clients through regular contact, obtain market intel from client discussions, and find opportunities for networking/referrals within existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Must be in good standing in current position
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Required: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, including the ability to read, write and speak proficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of proven customer service and account management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and grow an assigned client portfolio
  • Displayed understanding of RTS, Pilot Flying J, and WEX value prop
  • Demonstrated ability to cross-sell RTS Financial, ProTrans, and ancillary services
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Detail oriented with analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to gain trust and maintain customer relationships over the phone
  • Enjoy working in a competitive team-based environment
  • Willingness to go above-and-beyond in daily duties
  • Strong organizational skills and time management

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and account management to assigned portfolio
  • Work in a proactive manner so the assigned accounts are utilizing the products, services, and tools available
  • Handle client matters quickly and efficiently, ensuring client is satisfied and all issues are resolved
  • Uncover client needs/pains
  • Increase revenue by selling the value prop, increasing wallet-share, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Review sales numbers of assigned portfolio, identifying areas in need of improvement
  • Active communication with leadership regarding progress, key wins, and challenges
  • Embrace the customer culture
  • Operate with ethics and integrity
