About The Position

Conte’s Bike Shop is looking for a motivated, energetic Bike Sales Associate who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and is passionate about helping riders find the perfect bike, gear, and service solutions. This role is all about closing sales, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and representing the values that make our shop a trusted part of the cycling community.

Requirements

  • A passion for cycling and a genuine enthusiasm for helping people.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with customers of all experience levels. (“Must be a good communicator; excellent people skills” )

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service from the moment a customer walks in, ensuring every rider feels welcomed, supported, and understood. (“Provide exceptional customer service” )
  • Drive sales by actively engaging customers, asking great questions, and confidently recommending bikes, accessories, and service options that meet their needs.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date on the latest bikes, components, and gear. (“Focus on constantly developing product knowledge” )
  • Support daily shop operations, including opening the store on time, maintaining merchandising standards, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized. (“Arrive early to setup the store to open on time” and “Ensure a high degree of focus on visual merchandising and store cleanliness” )
  • Help resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions‑oriented mindset. (“Mitigate customer service issues by helping to proactively manage issues as they arise” )
