BikeLoud PDX is seeking a Program Manager for its Bike Buddy program, which is funded by the City of Portland's Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF). The primary goal of this program is to reduce carbon emissions in Portland by promoting bike trips as an alternative to car trips, particularly targeting communities historically excluded from climate initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for organizing and operating the Bike Buddy program, which includes providing one-on-one mentoring between volunteer mentors and new bike riders, as well as subsidizing bicycle maintenance and supplies for low-income residents. The program aims to facilitate 100 mentor-mentee meetings annually over a three-year period.
