As a Porter, your main responsibility is to anticipate the needs of our guests and co-workers. It is vital that when in the dining room, your appearance always be crisp and clean! You will work in the dish room where you will be responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing our dishes, glassware, and silverware to perfection. One of your more important responsibilities will be to ensure our service staff has clean dishes, glassware, and silverware. You will also bring china to the service aisle and cook's line. Keeping the service aisle and cook's line stocked with these items will ensure a smooth flow of service. It is important that the Porter has a full understanding of operational standards, policies, and procedures and can effectively demonstrate them. The Porter must follow all Southern Nevada Health Department guidelines and codes.
