WHAT YOU WILL DO: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to be responsible for leading the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the development of high-quality, compelling proposals that align with business objectives and client requirements. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, and project management teams to develop winning strategies and ensure seamless execution. Your role will involve managing risk, tracking performance against KPIs, and driving continuous improvement through post-bid analysis. By maintaining strict deadlines, coordinating client presentations, and ensuring compliance with internal governance, you will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities and driving the growth of EOS IT Solutions.

Requirements

Administration experience, document production in particular.
Excellent written communication skills, specifically the use of grammar, punctuation, spelling & vocabulary, and presentation of text.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to edit and review documents under pressure.
A disciplined, well organized and structured approach to managing bids and tenders as projects.
The ability to meet absolute deadlines and effectively manage a large, varied workload.
3–4 years of experience managing bids end-to-end – Preferred.
A strong team player ethic.

Best practice bid management tools/methodologies – Preferred.
Bachelor's and/or Certifications in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Management, Project Management or Finance – Preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end bid process
Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery.
Work with the Sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling
Help to manage and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer
Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process
Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary)
Manage the bid budget and monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs. (where weighting/scoring is in play)
Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines
Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids
Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission
Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers
