About The Position

Summary of the role: The Bid Manager is responsible for leading bid qualification, governance and execution for Airlines vertical. The role ensures Amadeus focuses its presales and commercial efforts on bids that make strategic, financial and operational sense, while delivering high-quality, compliant and differentiated bid responses. Operating as an individual contributor within the Airlines Sales Engineering organization, the Bid Manager plays a critical role in relieving Sales Engineers from bid administration, enabling them to focus on other high-value customer engagements and solutioning. Success in this role is measured by win rate, bid quality, presales efficiency and disciplined bid selection, not volume of bids submitted. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be in the local office 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bid and proposal management methodologies
  • Understanding of complex B2B solution portfolios
  • Commercial and financial awareness
  • Risk assessment and decision framing
  • Proficient in leveraging approved AI tools (Copilot) to improve turnaround time, consistency and quality in a high-volume bid environment
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proposal and document management tools
  • CRM and bid tracking tools (Responsive)
  • Comfortable using AI tools
