About The Position

The individuals selected for this position are responsible for performing surveys, diagnostics, repair, and install beverage equipment. Always delivering an extraordinary customer service to all customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Knows and actively demonstrates, daily, our Company Mission Statement and our Core Values Correctly identifies product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin location Drives a company vehicle in a safe manner to customer locations Maintain a good driving record Repairs, install and performs preventative maintenance on commercial beverage machines. Keep accurate inventory on vehicle and local branch location Make necessary notes on invoices to show variances changes, and out of stock products. Receives and handles payments from customers Maintain schedule calendars of equipment installs Should be able to work with and maintain smart phone, tablet, or laptop. Flexible Schedule nights and weekends Inform manager/lead of out of stocks or inventory variance on all items Assists in prep for inventory and assist in inventory process Practices teamwork and cooperation with coworkers Seeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity Undertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detail Should be able to stand for long periods while working on machines during a busy environment Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally in each shift Properly utilize a dolly and/or pallet jack Other projects as assigned by management Efficiently carrying out all the directives given by Management Team Working in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA Should possess time management skills and be able to prioritizes tasks and meet the demands of the day Attendance and Timeliness is required. This is not a job you can do from home

Requirements

State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Specs.
Specs insists that you be a human being
1-2 years of experience on the following: soda fountain, BIB machines, beer systems, ice machines, water filtration, but if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED), but sometimes, experience is the best education.
Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos.
Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus.
Responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality are needed for success.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.
Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
Ability to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
