About The Position

As a BI Reporting Analyst II, you will provide functional support for the Oracle Analytics platform, develop financial and operational reports, and deliver insights that drive business decisions. You will be trusted to: - Develop dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics tools and techniques. - Support end-users by meeting their reporting needs, resolving issues and being an Oracle Analytics advocate. - Define requirements, translate them into system specifications, and deliver Oracle BI Analysis, Data Visualization and Publisher reports. - Identify data sources, analyze data, and build data models in a relational database structure. - Validate data and reports to ensure accuracy before migrating to production. - Test processes and reports during system upgrades and enhancements. - Perform daily operations related to system controls, shared inbox management, and scheduled reporting.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in BI reporting, business systems analysis, developing and documenting business requirements, functional system support, and/or serving as a liaison to business partners & IT or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in computer science, information systems, business, data analytics, finance, accounting, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate experience with Business Intelligence reporting systems, especially Oracle Analytics solutions (OBIEE, OAS, OAC, APEX).
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization/storytelling.
  • Skilled in business systems analysis, data validation, and quality control.
  • Familiar with financial systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, EBS) and reporting practices.
  • Experienced in developing, testing and implementing BI reporting within a data warehouse architecture.
  • Functional knowledge of database modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
  • Understanding of AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics and how to apply them to reporting solutions.
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator with ability to manage competing priorities.
