POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong experience in Power BI and MS SQL Server to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare data and hands-on experience working with Meditech Data Repository (DR) and other sources. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in BI development or data analytics roles.
• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, custom visuals).
• Strong knowledge of querying data from MS SQL Server
• Experience working with healthcare data and Meditech Data Repository (DR) preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare reporting requirements (clinical quality measures, regulatory reporting, financial reporting) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and HIPAA compliance

• Exposure to other BI platforms or cloud data environments (e.g., Azure, Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and transform data from Meditech Data Repository and other healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of reporting solutions.
• Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and documentation of BI processes.
• Support ad hoc data requests and analyses for clinical, financial, and operational teams.
• Work with ETL processes and data models to optimize reporting structures.
• Stay current with BI and healthcare data best practices, tools, and technologies.
