About The Position

A leading financial institution in Malta is seeking a Data Developer to join its established team. The Bank operates across thirteen retail branches, serving both personal and business clients, and is part of a diversified international group. The role focuses on building and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft technologies, ensuring high data quality, and supporting business intelligence needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT.
3–5 years’ experience in data development, ideally in the financial sector.
Strong background in SQL, data modelling, and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT).
Hands-on experience with: SSIS ETL soltions / SSRS reporting / Python
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with: DBT
Experience with: .NET
Experience with: Power BI

Responsibilities

Develop ETL processes using SSIS, Python, and SQL Server stored procedures.
Create XML/CSV data export files.
Develop and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and security across all data processes.
Design and implement data warehouse solutions for analytics and BI.
Document business processes and build, test, and maintain data flows within Microsoft’s data technology stack.
