About The Position

TEKsystems is looking for a BI Data Analyst to perform analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns for one of our customers in Downers Grove. This is a full time role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL (2+ years).
  • Python experience for data manipulation, automation, or integration (2+ years).
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Services such as: Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing. Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration. Azure Data Lake for storage and analytics. Azure Analysis Services or Power BI Tabular Models for semantic modeling.
  • Understanding of data modeling principles (Kimball methodology preferred).
  • Experience creating and maintaining semantic models and implementing measures/calculations.
  • Knowledge of data storytelling and translating business requirements into BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting requirements and presenting insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to data governance tools like Microsoft Purview is a plus.

  • HMO Medical Plan Rx out of pocket max increased to $1,000/$3,000. Inpatient copay increased to $500 for first 3 days, Outpatient surgery copay increased to $200. Emergency Room co-pay increased to $300.
  • CVS Maintenance Choice program added for 2026.
  • Dental PPO plan surgical periodontics benefit coverage increased to 80%.

  • 401(k) maximum employee deferral: - $24,500 - $32,500 if you’re age 50-59 or age 64+ in 2026 - $35,750 if you are age 60-63 in 2026
  • Starting in 2026, employees earning more than $150,000 in the previous year who are age 50 or older must make their 401k catch-up contributions as Roth contributions.
