About The Position

The BI Data Analyst will be responsible for designing analytical dashboards to meet the needs of internal users, from initial requirement gathering to implementation. The role involves contributing ideas based on a strong technical base of knowledge related to dashboard and report design experience. The analyst will assess and analyze data from disparate systems to provide relevant insights to management, enabling strategic decision-making. The position requires effective collaboration across internal teams and external vendors to ensure that efforts are fully understood, risks are mitigated, and deliverables meet requirements.

Requirements

• 4 plus years of hands-on Analytical Dashboard creation experience.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, preferably Tableau.
• Expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational databases like Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization, data integrations, IWMS software, or Archibus is a plus.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL.
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven interpersonal, data analysis, management, and prioritization skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and build working relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data visualization tools other than Tableau.
• Familiarity with corporate real estate or information management teams.

Responsibilities

• Design Analytical Dashboards to meet internal user needs from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Contribute ideas based on technical knowledge related to dashboard and report design.
• Assess and analyze data from disparate systems to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure understanding of efforts and mitigate risks.
• Consult with users to develop complex Analytical Dashboards supporting business processes.
• Identify and communicate risks and impacts considering business implications.
• Operate with limited direct supervision and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders.
• Document requirements for Analytical Dashboards and validate them with internal client relationship managers.
• Design and implement Analytical Dashboards for dynamic decision-making.
• Advise teams on best practices.
