  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define scalable reporting solutions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of underlying database systems that ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure data integrity through profiling, validation, and well-documented metadata layers.
  • Participate in testing activities across unit, integration, and system levels.
  • Manage server backups, monitor reliability, and perform minor administration as needed.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide BI/reporting guidance to team members.
  • Share regular updates with clients and project leads to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and evolving BusinessObjects/SQL technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects reporting, including Universe design
  • 5+ years of SQL development, including 4+ years of performance tuning

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Proven team player with adaptability in fast-paced environments

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of BusinessObjects server administration experience
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or related healthcare data systems
  • Experience supporting BusinessObjects version upgrades or transitions
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
