BI Analyst Hybrid position in Fremont Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do Document dataset requirement for analysis to address issues encountered in the day to day operations for HYVE business Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools This is a general role in which employees work with multiple types of business data Help to oversee end‑to-end execution of manufacturing projects on managing data‑driven projects that support operations, manufacturing performance Coordinate cross-functional team to facilitate communication between multiple teams to smooth and speed up the project

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and modeling tools
  • Basic math, finance and business administration skills
  • Proficient in utilizing MS Excel to complete complex tasks
  • Proven Experience in computer manufacturing, computer components, or electronics industries
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Understanding reporting governance, KPI frameworks, or operational analytics
  • Basic AI concepts to improve working and reporting efficiency
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and make recommendations, etc.
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
  • May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
  • May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience in working with MS Power BI reports
  • Visual Design or User Experience Design experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with SQL and Access is a plus
