About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Transporter who holds a valid Peer Support Certification and an active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. This role includes transporting clients safely and respectfully to appointments and group sessions, as well as facilitating peer-led support groups that promote recovery and wellness. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, Sanctuary Recovery Centers conducts background checks and drug screenings for all potential employees. Please note the following: Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. This may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information. Drug Screening: Candidates must pass a drug screening test as a condition of employment. This test will screen for the presence of illegal substances and may include random testing during employment. APS Registry: Candidates must pass an APS (Adult Protective Services) registry check before an offer of employment can be extended. Confidentiality: All information obtained during the background check, drug screening, and APS registry check process will be kept confidential and used solely for employment purposes. Compliance: Sanctuary Recovery Centers complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding background checks, drug screenings, and APS registry checks. Requirements

  • Current Peer Support Certification (Arizona)
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Clean 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history
  • Either a current BHT Certification or a minimum of 4 consecutive years of experience working as a BHT
  • Experience in behavioral health or peer support preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality

  • Experience in behavioral health or peer support preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport clients to and from designated locations.
  • Facilitate peer support groups focused on recovery, empowerment, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate logs for transportation and group attendance.
  • Support clients in navigating behavioral health services.
  • Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure continuity of care.
