BHCM/Social Worker (per diem)(Temple-Episcopal Hospital)

About The Position
To provide ongoing continuity of care to adult psychiatric patients. These duties include discharge planning, family contacts, linkages and relationship building with aftercare agencies and contact with community supports. Integral member of the interdiscipinary treatment team. BHCM/SW's are also responsible for timely utilization review of all patients. This includes concurrent and retrospective reviews with various managed care organizations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Accredited School of Social Work Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience as a Social Worker in a Hospital setting Preferred
- 1 year experience in Mental Health Preferred
- 1 year experience in Utilization reviewv Preferred
- General Experience in Bi-lingual skills Preferred
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Preferred
- PA Social Worker License Preferred
