We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) in Valdosta Georgia. The Registered Nurse will be clinically competent while delivering care to consumers utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. RNs will effectively interact with consumers, significant others and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing. The Registered Nurse promotes the physical and mental health of consumers by applying the nursing processes. The position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting consumers to assume responsibility for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical care, including psychiatric and medication services in accord with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual consumer needs.
