About The Position

ACRS seeks a full-time EHR Support Analyst who can provide technical support as EHR application expert, end users training, assisting in user set up and management, new features testing and help maintaining member-managed components of the software. The position provides daily support to Epic application users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting. The analyst will collaborate with agency leadership and other teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application in the agency. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related fields plus one (1) year of IT experience; OR Associate’s degree or equivalent in information technology or related fields and two (2) years of IT experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use non-technical approaches to train others in the use of computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge in Epic application, preferably the Behavioral Health module.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective ability to navigate a personal computer.
  • Competency in use of EHRs application, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to provide effective and respectful service to employees, visitors, and clients of diverse cultural beliefs and practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with behavioral health applications.
  • Familiarity with training documentation and user guides.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily support to Epic application users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting.
  • Identifies, assesses, and troubleshoots application and equipment issues as they occur.
  • Refers issues that require additional assistance to the IT/Help Desk or software vendor’s Help Desk.
  • Communicates updates and resolution to the user and teams when completed.
  • Collaborates with agency leadership and other teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application.
  • Facilitates weekly Epic meetings.
  • Helps with implementation process for new features, system updates, upgrades, and optimization processes.
  • Manages agency Epic system setup and monitors processes.
  • Partners with clinical staff to provide support to MyChart users.
  • Collaborates with clinical and operations teams and human resources to ensure new and existing users are equipped with needed competencies.
  • Attends all relevant agency and vendor meetings.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
