About The Position

Responsible for providing direct care services including individual and group counseling, support and other activities; participating in comprehensive assessment, development of treatment and discharge planning; maintaining clinical documentation, participating in and facilitating family and collateral meetings, team meetings and case conferences to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social work.
  • LCADC Candidates without a Masters degree will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Two years mental health experience.
  • For Adolescent Services; at least one year of work with youth in a mental
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
  • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) within two years of terminal license and with authorized supervisors will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Valid NJ Motor Vehicle License
  • Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
