The BG Purchasing Costing Leader supports the FCE BG business goals with accurate and credible cost estimates for products and investments to achieve profitable customer quotations. Supports and leads with overall knowledge regarding tooling- & piece-cost estimates (mechanical and electronics), logistics & assembling estimates, cost tracking of new programs and questions concerning economic standards. The main missions of the role are: Implement Forvia's cost estimation systems and practices in accordance with Forvia FCPs within FCE. Developing and ensuring proper documentations. Keep track of new industry developments and employ new technologies. Ensuring that the cost estimates are finished and correct on due date. Define and pursue the internal procedures. Provide input into customer quotations (BP): Develop cost models for purchased components (electronics/mechanical); develop cost models for internal assembly processes; understanding of tariff and duties when evaluating costs. Implement cost model programs by evaluating other BGs best practices. All program-related duties need to be accomplished within the requirements of the Faurecia Program Management System.
