About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a BeyondTrust Engineer (SME) to join a cleared team supporting a military program. This position is onsite in Chantilly, VA and requires an active Secret clearance. The selected candidate will lead the configuration, integration, and sustainment of BeyondTrust's Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access, and Password Safe solutions within a secure DoD environment.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance (required).
IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).
8-10+ years of IT engineering experience (degree may substitute years of experience).
2+ years of hands-on BeyondTrust experience (Remote Support, PRA, Password Safe).
Strong PowerShell scripting and Active Directory expertise.
Experience implementing security controls in DoD or regulated environments.

Nice To Haves

Integration experience with ServiceNow or NICE CXOne.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Gov, AWS GovCloud).
Python scripting or automation workflow experience.
Prior CACI or Air Force program experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support BeyondTrust Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access, and Password Safe tools.
Integrate BeyondTrust with identity management, ticketing, and monitoring systems (e.g., ServiceNow, NICE CXOne).
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with DoD standards including DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53.
Oversee system patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and audit documentation.
Collaborate with security and operations teams to optimize privileged access workflows.
Provide mentoring and technical oversight for junior team members.
