About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overall operations of the Beverage Department venues during scheduled shift; this includes all bar areas and beverage service on the casino floor. Monitors Beverage team to ensure compliance with Title 4 & CCCH policies and procedures, while providing exceptional guest service. Position requires working in an environment where smoking is permitted. Must be comfortable with exposure to smoke while performing job duties.

Requirements

  • HS DIPLOMA
  • Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume venue; minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a food and/or beverage venue
  • Follow directions effectively
  • Plan and be well organized
  • Knowledge of beverage training, purchasing, inventory control and scheduling.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have or be able to obtain food handlers certification, Title 4 certification, and Alcohol Awareness card upon hire.
  • Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  • Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage menu, all products, equipment, and POS system
  • Cover venues as needed during periods of high volume, breaks, call outs
  • Complete accurate paperwork in a timely manner, including end of shift reports and issuing NOE’s & attendance notices
  • Monitor bartender pours, costs, techniques, and addressing variances
  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Resolve guest and team member issues and disputes
  • Assign team member responsibilities and monitor service for effectiveness
  • Prepare required reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and counseling notices
  • Track and schedule department compliance and safety training
  • Assist other casino departments with supervisory duties as needed
