About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Beverage Supervisor - Waterpark. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the waterpark beverage team in their daily operations, including assisting behind the bar, interacting with guests, and overseeing a sage workplace. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

Requirements

  • We do require that you are 21 years of age.
  • State and Local laws may require a certificate of alcohol awareness/safety classes and food handling certifications
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
  • 3 years extensive experience in bar, restaurant, kitchen, hotel, resort management preferred
  • This is a full-time position with various work hours and days based on business needs. It regularly requires evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all beverage outlets within the Resort
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the venue’s recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure that the bartenders/barbacks/cocktail servers are providing all orders on time and made with quality and consistency, according to specifications.
  • Assist Beverage Manager to develop, coach, and train new staff and existing staff in all areas of managerial and professional development
