About The Position

The Beverage Service Specialist/Resort Bartender is responsible for delivering a high-quality beverage and bar experience for guests. In this role, you will prepare specialty cocktails and other beverages, interact with guests to ensure a positive experience, and maintain an organized and sanitary bar area. This position requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work varying schedules common in hospitality operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, supervisors, and coworkers
  • Commitment to providing outstanding service and creating positive guest experiences
  • Reliable work habits and attention to detail when completing tasks
  • Ability to perform duties efficiently while following company procedures and service standards
  • Professional appearance and adherence to property grooming guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated dependability, dedication, and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of handcrafted cocktails, alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks according to established standards
  • Provide attentive and professional service to guests while maintaining a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
  • Accurately process guest payments and handle transactions according to company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area by clearing used dishes and glassware and coordinating with the kitchen for cleaning
  • Ensure bar stations are properly stocked, organized, and prepared for service at the beginning of each shift
  • Complete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain sanitation standards
  • Engage with guests during service to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and resort amenities
  • Read guest cues and preferences to tailor service and create a positive and memorable experience
  • Assist with the efficient setup and breakdown of bar operations throughout the day
  • Follow all company service standards and operational procedures to maintain a consistent guest experience
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management
