About The Position

The position involves greeting and welcoming guests in a pleasant and professional manner, providing timely cocktail service, and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas. The role requires constant vigilance for service opportunities, responding to guest complaints, and answering questions about property events and attractions. Employees will perform side work at their assigned station, including stocking supplies and ensuring a clean workstation. The job demands fast and friendly beverage service, effective communication with bartenders, and the ability to monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly. Additionally, the role includes promoting casino events and working closely with the Total Rewards Center. The employee is expected to provide personalized service, resolve service problems, and adhere to attendance and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• One-year previous high volume cocktail experience.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a position with direct customer service duties.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Professional and pleasant appearance.
• Ability to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
• Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
• Schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Provide timely cocktail service in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Keep assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles.
• Constantly look for service opportunities.
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints.
• Answer guest questions and be knowledgeable about property events and attractions.
• Perform all side work at assigned station, such as stocking coffee, glasses, sugar, cream, and coffee dispenser.
• Provide fast beverage service to casino guests.
• Take drink orders and communicate with bartenders.
• Assist in the preparation of drinks and present drinks to guests.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation.
• Handle money according to procedure.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed.
• Serve as an ambassador of goodwill at customer and public relations functions.
• Promote casino events and programs.
• Work closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign-up programs.
• Provide personalized service and use guest names.
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned.
