About The Position

The position involves providing drink and food service as well as customer service to guests on the casino floor, including the poker room and ballroom. The individual will be responsible for taking drink and food orders, completing money transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the cocktail station serving area. Additional duties include assisting bartenders, performing specific cleaning duties, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Serving experience, preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must provide or obtain a Food Handlers certification upon hire and maintain during employment.
• Must provide or obtain the Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and maintain during employment.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (copier, fax, etc.).
• Must be able to work with American Indian people and be sensitive to their culture.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a casino environment.

Responsibilities

• Takes drink and food orders and completes money transactions.
• Must carry a drink tray at all times.
• Keeps Cocktail station serving area clean.
• Assists bartenders with dishes and breaks.
• Does specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
• Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
