About The Position

A Beverage Server prepares and serves non-alcoholic beverage service to casino guests in designated gaming areas. Provides a great experience for every guest through courteous interactions.

Requirements

Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members.
High school diploma/GED required.
Six months job related experience preferred.
Obtain a Food Handlers Card within 90 days of hire.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license.
Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle conflict situations.
While performing the duties of the position, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, turn, bend, use hands and fingers to grasp, handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Must be able to push 100lb beverage cart.
Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position.

Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all guests in the casino whether or not they are gambling.
Greet guests and build personal first name relationships.
Maintain a well-stocked, orderly, clean work and Beverage guest stations.
Prepares and serves beverages (hot and cold) using drink dispensing machines.
Takes and records temperature of storage areas such as refrigerators and steam tables.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes or silverware.
Accepts payment from guests and makes change as necessary.
Maintain all health and safety regulations.
Remove empty cups and other beverage containers from gaming areas and dispose of them in the trash.
Performs other duties as assigned.
