About The Position

The Beverage Server is responsible for providing personalized, fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests, ensuring their satisfaction. This role involves actively promoting casino events and programs, working with Caesars Rewards for new card signups, and monitoring guest alcohol consumption according to responsible management guidelines. Key duties include taking and preparing drink orders, handling money, maintaining a clean workstation, and adhering to company service standards. The server is expected to work collaboratively with other team members, follow the 'Everyone Greets Everyone' policy, and participate in mandatory meetings. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the possibility of overtime.

Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and comply with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures
Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed
Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required

Responsibilities

Provides personalized service and uses guest name
Resolves service problems according to Service Recovery guidelines
Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; may appear in publicity photos
Actively promotes casino events and programs
Works closely with Caesars Rewards to promote new card signups and relay benefits
Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests
Supplements beverage tray with extra products to provide immediate or interim guest satisfaction
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to Responsible Alcohol Management training and property guidelines
Promotes guests’ sense of luck on gaming floor by sincerely wishing customers luck and minimizing waiting time
Take drink orders, communicate with bartender utilizing the proper calling order, assist in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests
Handle money according to departmental procedure
Works well with others, including but not limited to beverage servers, bartenders, bar backs, beverage supervisors, and beverage managers
Maintains clean and stocked workstation; clears empty glasses from workstation/area
Services guests according to the company standard sequence of service
Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required
Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”
Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
Perform other duties as assigned
