Requirements
- Must have basic math skills and cash handling experience.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods throughout the duration of shift.
- Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT.
- Mobility and dexterity to carry and serve a tray of beverages weighing 15 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous beverage experience preferred.
- Six months to one year of cocktail experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and/or serves beverages following standard practices and recipes while providing guests with exceptional customer service.
- Sets up designated area of the floor with ashtrays and cup holders if section requires such and continuously combs the floor for empty cups and miscellaneous trash.
- Circulates the floor giving equal attention to Table Games and Slots or assigned section.
- Keeps informed of continually changing promotional beverages, events, and services.
- Reports to scheduled shift in proper uniform.
- Pays bartender the correct amount for drinks if such service is required in the assigned section or outlet.
- Restocks and maintains all portable bars with soda, juice, coffee, and condiments.
- Coordinates with bar staff to ensure the availability of beverages.
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to established practices.
