About The Position

As a Beverage Server at Water's Edge Banquet Center, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service to ensure the success of our events. You will play a key role in providing a memorable experience for our guests by offering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Requirements

• Preferably some knowledge or experience as a bartender or beverage server, in a banquet or event setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and capability to perform tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
• Knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service is preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, including stocking supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing barware and disposing of waste.
• Collaborate with event staff to set up and break down bar stations.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
• Participate in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including cleaning and organizing rooms.
