About The Position

To provide excellent, timely customer service, in order to ensure a favorable
gaming and entertainment experience.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, tray service skills and beverage ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
• Provide fast (20-minute or less round-trip time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino customers, and carry full trays on every round.
• Take drink orders from customers, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks, and serve drinks accurately and timely.
• Handle money according to procedure.
• Explain drink offerings to customers.
• Effectively use tray service skills to provide fast, friendly, and professional beverage service.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Appropriately use all bar equipment and Micros system.
• Work well with all other team members and all customers.
• Learn and use customers’ names to provide personalized, high-level service.
• Effectively resolve service issues according to company guidelines.
• Work well with others, especially other Beverage Servers, Bartenders, Bar Porters, Food and Beverage Supervisors, Table Games team members, and the Slot Department.
• Monitor customers’ consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to company policy and procedures regarding customers’ alcohol limits.
• Work closely with Rewards Club to promote new player card sign-up programs.
• Have complete knowledge of, and effectively promote, all casino events and promotional activities.
• Adhere to departmental and property appearance guidelines and uniform requirements.
• Ensure the safety and security of team members and customers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City and departmental management.
• Carry out other duties reasonably assigned by management.
