About The Position

The position involves providing exceptional beverage service to casino guests while ensuring player satisfaction and maintaining a positive guest relationship. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle money accurately, and promote casino events and programs. The employee will serve as an ambassador of goodwill, actively engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner. The job also includes responsibilities related to teamwork and maintaining a clean and stocked workstation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able and willing to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must have basic math skills to count money and present change correctly
• Must have knowledge of guest charge procedures
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations
• Knowledgeable of or able to learn tray service and cocktail ingredients
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy

Responsibilities

• Provides personalized service and uses guest names.
• Resolves service problems according to Service Recovery guidelines.
• Acts as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions.
• Promotes casino events and programs actively.
• Works closely with Total Rewards to promote new card sign-ups and relay benefits.
• Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to Responsible Alcohol Management training and property guidelines.
• Takes drink orders and communicates with bartenders using the proper calling order.
• Handles money according to departmental procedures.
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation and clears empty glasses from the work area.
