About The Position

Provide beverage service to guests while maintaining the standards of Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino by providing outstanding guest service, and displaying a fun and friendly attitude at all times. Essential Functions: Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions. Maintain friendly and effective working relationships with members of all departments. Promote a friendly atmosphere by smiling, welcoming guests with friendly greetings, making eye contact with guests and offering kind departure statements. Provide superior cocktail service in designated areas by offering complimentary and alcohol refreshments to guests. Practice responsible alcohol service to prevent and recognize potential alcohol related concerns and maintain Safe Server certification. Assist with supplying and cleaning all comp beverage stations on the floor. Handle cash and reconcile bank. Alert management immediately of any issues and problems. Operate and handle cash registers, juice guns, cutting boards, soda guns, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, alcoholic frozen drink machines, iced tea machines and other utensils equipment as necessary. Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and EGET skills. Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned. Monitor compliance with property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year experience as a food and beverage/cocktail server, preferred.
Experience with tray service, preferred.
Experience in the sale and knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Must be able to obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
Strong communication skills in English both written and oral.
Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy and procedures, and gaming regulations set within KLEC.
Must participate in tip reporting program.

Spanish or other language skills a plus.
