About The Position

As a Black Swan Beverage Server at the Omni Houston Hotel, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our nightclub patrons. Your primary responsibilities will include serving a variety of beverages, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, attentive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server or bartender in a nightclub, bar, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Weekend availability 9:00pm-3:00am.
• TABC and Texas Food Handlers certified.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or permits.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take drink orders, serve beverages, and handle cash; credit transactions; room charges accurately.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the nightclubs drink menu, including specialty cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Monitor and manage beverage inventory, restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations, including checking IDs and serving responsibly.
• Collaborate with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including tables, bar tops, and surrounding spaces.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices.
