Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess both on-premise and off-premise experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and the capability to propose creative business solutions.
  • Must be able to obtain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wine is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel within the assigned territory to engage with both regular and prospective customers.
  • Promote and sell Savannah Distributing products, including beer, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, to maintain and expand market share.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with all account stakeholders.
  • Display and demonstrate products using samples, highlighting their marketable features.
  • Provide pricing, payment terms, and prepare sales orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments and sales representatives to ensure account activities and promotional literature are current.
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to deliveries.
  • Conduct business in compliance with local and state laws.
  • Deliver emergency orders as necessary.
  • Participate in supplier collaborations.
  • Consult with the District Manager to address customer concerns.
  • Submit weekly marketing reports.
