About The Position

Beverage Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) Greenville, SC What we are seeking As a Beverage Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to all assigned accounts within your route. You will also be responsible for driving sales and revenue through marketplace execution and initiatives, cultivating customer relationships, and working hand-in-hand with the operations team to provide best-in-class service. Strong customer service skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. What you will do day to day Drive company-owned vehicle to deliver products to customer accounts. Complete required delivery procedures at each customer location, generate invoices for each product delivery and be responsible for daily settlement of your route. Successfully sell against the company’s annual sales plan (AOP) as well as individual performance targets. Manage account inventory and rotation; ensuring on-shelf inventory is adequate to support same-day sales while creating and transmitting sales orders from selling device(s). Organize and maintain backstock by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, return empty pods, crates, damaged and out of date products to the warehouse. Prioritize account visits based on customer availability and needs, while remaining flexibile to coordinate off-schedule visits and deliveries. Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize performance, while coordinating display and holiday activity and selling against LTO and innovation distribution targets. Build and maintain customer relationships at the store level by delivering best-in-class customer service through communication, building rapport, and showing attentiveness to customer needs. Secure and maintain cold and warm space, displays, and racks, while being responsible for placement of point-of-sale (POS) and other promotional signage. Ensure complete customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, while resolving any customer concerns. Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new account leads. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicle and communicate any equipment issues that need attention. Adheres to DOT rules and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Demands Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. Constantly required to stand, walk, and sit. Must be able to climb into and out of the delivery truck throughout the shift 8 to10 hours per day. Must frequently push and pull up to 500 pounds using a hand truck or pallet jack. Must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving products and equipment. Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical equipment, outside weather conditions, and high, precarious places.
