About The Position

The Beverage Production Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end production of cannabis beverages, from overseeing production schedules to ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining equipment, and managing supply chains to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage manufacturing, an understanding of cannabis regulations, and experience in quality assurance and production management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in beverage production.
5+ years of experience in beverage manufacturing, ideally in a regulated industry (e.g., food, beverage, cannabis).
Strong knowledge of quality assurance protocols, testing, and compliance within the cannabis or beverage industry.
Experience with production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with inventory and production management software.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations, including METRC and OLCC requirements, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage daily production operations to ensure the timely and efficient manufacture of cannabis-infused beverages, adhering to production schedules and goals.
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards. Work closely with the QA team to ensure product consistency.
Ensure that all products undergo necessary testing to meet state and company safety regulations. Maintain compliance with cannabis industry regulations (OLCC, METRC).
Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Monitor raw material levels, manage supplier relationships, and ensure that all necessary ingredients, packaging, and supplies are available to meet production demands.
Lead and manage a team of production staff, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
Continuously analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility in compliance with OSHA and food safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and quality metrics to senior management.
