About The Position

The Beverage Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accuracy of inventory by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. This position will ensure that receivers and transactions are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Fontainebleau Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Six (6) months general clerical and inventory record keeping experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, inventory software, and databases
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
  • Possess attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess good mathematical and clerical skills
  • Must be customer service-oriented with good communication skills
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and validate purchase orders into the warehouse management system as product is delivered
  • Process transactions for inventory departing the warehouse and allocate the corresponding charges to the requesting departments
  • Update cost transfer transactions between production kitchens, restaurants, and/or departments
  • Adhere to the daily cycle count schedule for the main warehouses to execute inventory validation and address initial variance research steps
  • Assist management with all other monthly cycle counts executed across the property
  • Manually validate correct product and quantities ordered from the inventory prior to delivery to department
  • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records
  • Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
  • Monitor, track and reconcile wine inventory in warehouse 10
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures, minimizing mispicks, and maximizing location accuracy
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and full physical inventories under the oversight of inventory control leadership. Investigate and resolve any variances
  • Collaborate with food and beverage leadership to control costs and eliminate any variance issues
  • Coordinate with Director of wine and spirits to ensure correct par levels and timely replenishment of fast moving items
  • Train staff on proper receiving, storage, organization and completing requisitions of inventory in warehouse 10
  • Weekly maintenance and updates to property master wine list under the oversight of Director of Wine and Spirits
  • Monthly wine and spirits inventory count assistance for food and beverage venues
