About The Position

It is the primary responsibility of the Beverage Host at New York New York to facilitate the seating and entry of guests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience high‐volume full‐service lounge, nightclub, entertainment venue, or restaurant

Responsibilities

• Reflect the attitude, theme and culture of the venue's concept to ensure a welcoming, inviting and authentic Hospitality and Entertainment experience
• Stock items and products in designated work areas
• Knowledgeable of Hotel activities, outlets and hours of operations and make reservations accommodating seating requests
• Ensure awareness of entrance, casino guests and regular customers
• Collect money while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of work station
• Check identification of all guests who enter the lounge, ensure they are 21 years of age
